The author of The Hunger Games is Suzanne Collins who was born on August 10th 1962 and lived in Hartford, Connecticut. Suzanne went to Alabama School of Arts and Indiana University. She is an American television writer and novelist. She is best known for the New York Times best selling series The Underland Chronicles and the Hunger Games. Suzanne, a mother of two at age 50 started her career working on several TV shows on Nickelodeon including Little Bear, and Oswald.
